Best Way to Color Gray Hair

If you have resistant hair, you need a hair color product that is specifically formulated for coloring this type of gray hair. If you do not have this type of hair, you can use any hair coloring product.
The best way to color gray hair is to use a semi-permanent color. It will last through 6-12 shampoos.
Apply the color mixture starting at the roots and working your way out to the tips. Remember to work in small sections of your hair.
To help the color penetrate better, put a plastic cap on, sit under a hooded dryer for about 15 – 20 min with the dryer “on medium”.
The more time the dye is in your hair, the darker the color. Do not keep the color in for longer than the product’s recommendation – it could severely damage your hair.
Once the time is up, rinse the dye from your hair until the water runs clear. Apply the conditioner for at least 2 minutes and then rinse thoroughly.
